Belgian Malinois
The Belgian Malinois is also called Belgian Shepherd Dog. This working dog breed is very popular as a K9 dog. These dogs can be used for all kinds of services. This breed is mainly used for :
- detection work (odors like explosives or narcotics)
- tracking (suspect apprehension)
- search and rescue duties (missing persons)
Dutch Shepherd
The Dutch Shepherd dogs is known to very loyal and reliable. They are very alert and active. These dogs are willing to work for the handler. Also Dutch Shepherd dogs are perfect dogs for K9 work duties. They are generally known as not being afraid of nothing and nobody.
German Shepherd
German Shepherds are very popular for the use of police dogs. Tracking criminals, detection and holding of suspects are for these dogs standard procedure. Also German Shepherds are used often as Military Police Dogs. Thousands of them already made it into the Military.
